Roundabout Community Conversation

Name: Roundabout Community Conversation
Date: June 6, 2018
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM PDT
Event Description:

With more and more roundabouts being constructed every day, the Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) is hearing a lot of questions about the traffic control device and the correct way to use them. Many people have asked how roundabouts are safer than traffic signals, if they are cost effective, how they improve pedestrian safety and how to “get out of” a two lane roundabout.

To answer those questions, SRTC is hosting a Roundabout Community Conversation on Wednesday, June 6 from 6-8 p.m. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley. We are bringing in a panel of experts from all over the nation to talk about everything from how roundabouts can be designed to fit into a particular neighborhood to how they can contribute to a community’s livability.

Everybody is welcome.
